Cyclosporine 50 mg (often formulated as “modified” or microemulsion capsules) is an oral immunosuppressant medication used to prevent organ rejection in kidney, liver, or heart transplants, and to treat severe rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis. It works by suppressing the immune system’s white blood cells.
- To prevent organ rejection in patients receiving a liver, kidney, or heart transplant
- To prevent rejection in other types of organ transplants (such as corneapancreas) or bone marrow transplant
- To treat other conditions that are affected by the body?s immune system (such as crohn?s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, plaque psoriasis)
- Severe atopic dermatitis, chronic autoimmune urticaria.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole.
- Do not chew, crush or break it.
