Mechanism of Action :

Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine, and phenylephrine are commonly used to relieve symptoms of the common cold. Paracetamol serves as both an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer); it works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine acts as a nasal decongestant by narrowing the small blood vessels in the nasal passages, which helps to relieve congestion and stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that alleviates allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
