Mechanism of Action :
Salbutamol (1 mg) and Etofylline (50 mg/5 ml) syrup acts as a combination bronchodilator for asthma/COPD by relaxing bronchial smooth muscle via dual mechanisms: Salbutamol stimulates adrenergic receptors to increase CAMP, while Etofylline (a theophylline derivative) inhibits phosphodiesterase, preventing CAMP breakdown, thus opening airways.
