Cefmac-XT 1 gm Injection is a medicine used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It is effective in infections of the brain (e.g., meningitis), lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, blood, and heart.

Cefmac-XT 1 gm Injection is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall), which is needed for them to survive.
