Ebazide-M Tablets are a combination medication used for the effective management of allergic conditions and respiratory allergies. The formulation combines the antihistaminic action of Ebastine with the anti-leukotriene activity of Montelukast to provide comprehensive relief from allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, itching, and watery eyes. It also helps in controlling airway inflammation associated with allergic rhinitis and asthma.
- Recurrent allergic conditions
- COPD
- Acute & chronic bronchitis
- Asthmatic bronchitis
- Seasonal/ perennial allergic rhinitis
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria
- Take the tablet as directed by the physician
- Swallow with water, preferably once daily or as prescribed
- Can be taken with or without food
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Ebastine works by blocking histamine (H1) receptors, thereby preventing allergic symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and nasal discharge. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks leukotrienes responsible for airway inflammation, mucus production, and bronchoconstriction. Together, they help reduce allergic responses and improve respiratory comfort.
