Product Information
Falcizone Tablets is used for the treatment of malaria in both children and adults. It contains two medicines both of which belong to a group of medicines called antimalarials. However, it is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe/complicated malaria (when the brain, lungs, or kidneys are affected).
- Uncomplicated Falciparum Malaria
- MDR Falciparum Malaria
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole.
Artemether and Lumefantrine, which treats malaria. These medicines work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.
