Lasidac Tablets is used for used in the treatment of congestive heart failure, nephrotic syndrome, ascites associated with liver cirrhosis, and mild and moderate degrees of essential hypertension. It works by reducing the excess fluid levels in the body while maintaining the potassium balance.
- Congestive heart failure
- Ascites and oedema in liver cirrhosis
- Hyper aldosteronism
- Excess fluid retention causing oedema
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole.
- Do not chew, crush or break it.
Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also reduces blood pressure and enables heart to pump efficiently. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium, thereby balancing its levels in the body.
