Isosorbide Dinitrate 10 mg is an oral vasodilator (organic nitrate) used to prevent and manage chronic angina pectoris (chest pain) and as an adjunct in congestive heart failure. It works by relaxing vascular smooth muscle, reducing the heart’s workload. It is typically a white, round tablet, with doses often taken 3-4 times daily.

Isosorbide Dinitrate is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload, thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain).
