Nitrotret 25 mg Injection is used to treat and prevent heart-related chest pain (angina) and hypertension (high blood pressure) during surgery. This medicine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily to the heart. It has a very short-lived effect.

- The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine.
It works by improving blood supply to heart and relaxing the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload, thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain). Relaxation of blood vessels lowers blood pressure.
