Tofisopam 50 mg is an atypical benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety, neurovegetative disorders, and alcohol withdrawal. Unlike traditional benzodiazepines, it lacks significant sedative or muscle-relaxant effects. It works by increasing GABA action and acting as a phosphodiesterase (PDE4) inhibitor, typically taken 50–300 mg daily.

Mechanism of Action :
