Clindamycin Phosphate 1% is a topical antibiotic medication (gel, lotion, or solution) primarily used to treat acne vulgaris by reducing Propionibacterium acnes bacteria and minimizing inflammation. Clindamycin Phosphate Gel is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing acne on your skin.
